GHTA offers options for departing travelers seeking Covid-19 tests

In response to the U.S and UK governments’ requirements of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test for airline passengers, the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association has partnered with Allied Laboratories at Fit for Life Medical Services to provide fast and convenient testing for travelers. The goal is to meet the requisite 72-hour time frame necessary for international departure while also providing cost effective testing options.

Through this partnership, departing locals and visitors are able to obtain WHO and FDA approved Antigen testing within 20 minutes or less at a reduced cost. Tests can be arranged by reservation at Fit For Life Medical Services located in Grand Anse across from Excel Plaza Mall for EC$150 or at the convenience of their hotel for EC$325. To further ease the burden of new US and UK international travel regulations, Fit For Life Medical Services also provides testing documentation necessary for boarding. Ms. Arlene Friday, CEO of GHTA states, “The GHTA is pleased to partner with Allied Laboratories at Fit for Life Medical Services to provide travelers with added assurance when planning their vacation experience in Grenada.”

To qualify for this reduced rate, travelers are requested to provide travel documents at their appointment and any other proof of departure.
