The Chamber was represented by the President Mr. Kennie John, the Senator Mr. Salim Rahaman along with the Executive Director Ms. Petipha Lewis and other members of the private sector. Permanent Secretary Ms. Patricia Clarke and officials from the Ministry of Trade were specially invited by the Chamber to be a part of the discussions.
A fifteen member Korean delegation including representatives from the Korean Embassy, Office of the President of the Republic of Korea, and Korean business representatives made up the Korean delegation.
At this meeting the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This MOU is to promote a stronger relationship between the Grenadian and Korean business communities for mutual benefit and to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the parties in specific business areas.
