My heart is heavy. I walked Grand Anse Beach as a child 4 times a day to and from the Catholic school. I cannot bear to see that land sold out. The local people do not realise what they have and what they will lose.
Could you please put out an urgent appeal to Grenadians abroad to form an organisation to buy out these properties so that they remain in the hands of Grenadians, and/or to convince the locals NOT to sell out? Give them good reasons not to.
I am retired and waiting for this Covid mess to be cleared up to come home to do business. Please Sir, there are Grenadians abroad who are willing to come back and invest. If the locals are suffering, we can find a way to help.
I know money is a strong motivator to sell, but they are better off keeping their lands.
I am on my knees already praying for a miracle – PLEASE GOD, DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN.
Please Sir anything you can do to spread the word to appeal to the locals not to sell or to get Grenadians abroad to help would be greatly appreciated.
Very Concerned Grenadian
