Grenadians! Please wake up from your deep sleep. This government is selling off our birthright and we are doing nothing as a nation to stop them and rescue our country from this government who make Judas look like a saint in our eyes.
Judas betrayal was not once, there are multiple times. They are looking at us as a weak nation, who they can fool with their pack of lies, false promises with their plastic smiles and bribery. Why! Because we have been falling for their lies and tricks for too long.
They have us sitting in a corner looking out for themselves, building up their status, lining their bank accounts, waiting for their false promises to fulfilled.
Now take a deep breath, sit back and clear your head and think about these problems we are facing in our country and list all the very important issues the government has covered where it’s a case of life or death for the people of Grenada and Tourism.
We keep hearing about the Economy and Tourism from the government. Still the government is not developing the country to benefit Grenadians and Tourism.
As we all can see there has been some minor adjustments and a few investors at our cost and dignity. How is that going to leave a good impression on the Tourist?
Oh my, once they arrive, they will head straight to their fancy Hotels and stay in their room until it’s time to leave the country. They will not be interested in sightseeing around the island.
Which count for the ROADS and BRIDGE CROSSING not getting fixed. HOUSING and DANGEROUS OLD BUILDINGS LEFT STANDING, WITH POOR DEVELOPMENT FOR THE POOR.
We all know the saying that say do not bite the hand that feed you. It’s a true saying when it has good intention. If the hand that feeding you has bad intention of course you will bite it, that hand might be poisoning you.
A lot of us are seeing the wrong road this government is taking with no interest for the people they are working for.
Which is why, we Grenadians who trusted to vote for them, so they can get the best possible deals or investments for the country and the people, are now not happy.
We did not vote to be sold off like slaves in their own land – it’s like history repeating itself again.
When some of us speak up we get criticised by our own people. Funny enough they are the same people who you will hear bad mouthing the same government behind their back and to their face they grinning like a Cheshire cat with them.
The other option is the government don’t want you to speak out. So they get you censored or use force tactics like they have done to Nevaeh Newman and others. What happen with RIGHT and WRONG also FREEDOM OF SPEECH?
We welcome all foreign countries and investors to our beautiful paradise country. We are a peaceful nation and will greet you with a smile and respect, unless you try to disrespect us.
As for the Egyptian billionaire Sawiris, ah tell you. If you was not greeted with a smile and respect from Grenadians, you would have gone long time.
We appreciate your investment in our country but it does not give you the right to think you can treat us like slaves or some stray dogs on the street.
What we cannot do in your country, don’t try to do it in ours. What – because you have money you think you can treat us how you feel. Sawiris, if that’s how you feel about our country and people, you can take your hotels and money and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
You came to our country now you trying to disrespect our country and people. You may pay others and line their pockets and see them as your lap dog.
However, please don’t fool yourself we are not all the same. Again we welcome all investors but treat us with respect in our country. Thank you.
WE ARE STRONG AND TOGETHER WE CAN BE STRONGER! STAND UP FOR GRENADA, FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND YOUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN TILL THE ALMIGHTY SAY OTHERWISE.
MAY GOD BLESS.
Nubian Queen
