Communications Supervisor Ms. Jamila Lewis was at the Annex of the Grenada Trades Center and presented the Award for the Best Video Production to Mr. Jeavid Neckles from MTV Grenada.
As a former media worker, Ms. Lewis notes that she understands the important role that the media plays, and for NAWASA, it continues to act as an intermediary between our Organization and the general public that we serve. “The media for NAWASA is essential as our daily needs such as water, and NAWASA continues to encourage and support them in their thrust of creating awareness opportunities and a positive impact for Organizations like ours.”
NAWASA congratulates all the winners of the night including GBN’s Rena Pierre Thomas for her remarkable achievement as she copped 4 awards and Bernadette Connell Celestine for her invaluable contribution to the media with a career that spans 30 plus years.
The Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) continues to be a friend of the NAWASA family and we commend them for a well-organized and successful event and encourages them to continue to be the sword of democracy and the watchdog that protects public interest and create awareness.
