Jonas Browne & Hubbard donates to Special Services Unit (SSU)

Wayne James - Manager of Hubbard’s Building Supplies made the donation to the Special Services Unit (SSU)

The Special Services Unit (SSU) – expressed immense gratitude to Jonas Browne & Hubbard (G’da) Ltd. for providing a new 16kg, fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine valued at $3,252.20.

Seargent Paterson Andrew said that they were seeking financial contribution from team members to purchase a washing machine because they were relying on handwashing for a lengthy period, but upon request, Hubbard’s responded without hesitation to their need.

He also said, “We were filled with joy hearing Hubbard’s response and even more elated now receiving the item, knowing that this is a desired commodity at the SSU Camp, located at Point Salines, St. George’s.” He further stated that this contribution will make life 100% easier for him and his colleagues.

Mr. Wayne James, Manager of Hubbard’s Building Supplies located in Grand Anse, made the presentation to Seargent Paterson Andrew.

Mr. James stated that Hubbard’s is committed to fulfilling its Corporate and Social Responsibilities, understanding the role the SSU plays in national security.
