The Legal profession in Grenada has plunged into disrepute following an incident Tuesday at one of the leading law firms in the city.
According to well-placed sources, one female employee used “hot boiling water” to throw on another female employee after the two were engaged in a physical brawl.
One source who did not want to be identified told THE NEW TODAY that the aggressor in the incident is often at loggerheads with other female staffers in the office.
He said that a few office clerks have left the job to take up employment with other law offices due to the attitude towards them by this particular individual.
He stated that on the day of the incident, the aggressor confronted her female colleague and the two ended up in a physical confrontation in the office.
“The girl beat her (the aggressor) up after she hit her,” he said.
The source indicated that the aggressor then boiled water at a later stage and threw it onto the co-worker.
“If you see the girl’s skin – water plugs all over her,” he quipped.
The matter is currently in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF).
