Stealing livestock

There is a vexing matter that is happening in our Community on the eastern side of the island.

We have a young man who is usually an inmate of HMS prison and is now a nuisance in our neck of the woods.

This young man is now out of prison and is presently stealing farmers’ agro products, like coconuts to make coconut oil.

In recent times, he started stealing livestock like sheep and goats. What is disturbing is that the people who are purchasing the meat from the animals are known to be foreigners.

Their nationality is withheld but they usually pass around the country in VEHICLES selling clothing and other items.

These are the ones who are purchasing stolen meat from whoever may sell it, disregarding the source of the animal, stolen or not.

The police must investigate that practice before it becomes a way of life.
