Mistreated is defined as treating (a person or animal) badly, cruelly or unfairly. It is a word that is getting a lot of press these days. Aboriginals declare it during their gatherings, women decry society’s treatment of them economically and most sectors of society like ethnic and special interest groups use the term often.
On the air, in the press and before our legislatures this term is used to focus society’s attention upon the state of a people, group or person. Mistreated perhaps means mismanaged an economic term more readily used by society.
What do I mean? Well mistreated creates a very negative atmosphere does it not? It is a term hurdled at someone, some organisation or thing that is a target, a target some people think needs to be changed in some way.
“The boss mistreated me”, Russia is an aggressive manipulative monster, that doggy is not fed properly”. All sorts of claims are made, but often not proven. Making the claim seems to be enough. Being hurtful is the aim of those who mistreat others, whether it be mental, psychological or physically done.
Aboriginals claim to have been mistreated in North America’s Residential School Systems. Because of the age of those making the claims we often only hear stories about this mistreatment.
We are told many Native Children simply disappeared and are buried in unmarked graves on residential school land. This is still being investigated today. Have hundreds of bodies of children been found? Who knows!!!
No one has the courage to investigate this and make it public for fear of societal wrath. Questioning an Elderly Aboriginal about the stories told, crazy eh? Socially unacceptable.
Are women the historic victims of societal mistreatment? Yes, they are not paid equally doing a job similar to that of a man. Yes there are less women sitting on Corporate and Public Boards of Directors. Whose fault is that?
The Capitalistic System is based upon the concept of Evolution – that the strongest, most strategic and clever amongst participants will achieve and positively evolve. The weak, lazy or complacent do not rule the earth. Do I sound angry or wrongfully opinionated? I am angry for a reason.
All those claiming to be mistreated were mismanaged individuals. The managers of these people were businessmen, clergy, so-called superiors who knew a good thing when they saw it. Sheep need to be herded, so the weak amongst us, like the defeated Aboriginal, complacent and submissive ladies in our lives give in to male direction and control.
They are often mismanaged but managed nonetheless. Societal control through our social norms, laws and regulations place the weak at the bottom of the social pyramid.
A good manager cares for their group, individual needs, and aspirations. A happy employee, wife, family or citizen makes for a happy man and it is still a man’s world whether the weak like it or not.
Mankind has historically mismanaged/mistreated their charges. Why? Well men like to control, inflict mental and physical control over others. It is in their DNA and Social upbringing. Only the mightiest will rule the day. So what of the weakest amongst us? What to do?
Mankind is actually a weak animal with many needs. A sexual, social and controlling animal. What can Women do to achieve greatness while among the menfolk? Become better than men, more courageous, clever and creative than the true weaker sex.
Organise a sex stoppage like a labour stoppage. Don’t get what you want? No sex for you! Have a need for equal pay and better treatment? Work stoppages or hit the bricks and walk off away from your so-called exploitive employers. Stop talking about your needs and desires and fight for them through social justice routines.
Religious organisations demand Women, Aboriginals and other groups give to Caesar what is Caesars, and faithfulness to God. While there is a need for women to become priests, mankind denies this possibility in most Catholic and Islamic Organisations. Simply stop going to your Church or Mosques. Your absence will be noticed as well as your denied weekly donations.
Money and actions talk folks. Why are you not aware of this folks? If Martin Luther did not nail his manifesto to the church door Christianity would not have evolved. If Martin Luther King Jr had not fought for the Rights of Humanity would our society have evolved? Action speaks louder than words. Christ said that. Lived faith gets results.
